Caterpillar 40pin Bench Flash Harness

To be used on the older CAT engines, which includes the 3406E C10 and C12.

If the ECM has 40-pins, and it running an on-road engine this cable will work.

Engine serial numbers (ESN) that this CAT bench flash harness would be compatible with include:

8YS, 9NS, 5DS, 1LW, 2PN, 1YN, 5EK, 6TS

This cable does not require a base cable with the tools with a 9 pin plugging directly into the cable

CAT cables can be used for a variety of purposes, including:

• Flashing Standard Calibrations
• Flashing Customized Programs
• Diagnostics when OBD plug faulty
• Programming the ECM when not on the truck
